Do you have a prayer and need many more to pray with you? Then join us in our prayer list.
Let us come together in our common prayer

and be one strong and powerful prayer group of sisters and brothers in Christ.

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
Matthew 21:22

Our Sunday school children have been praying for twins since they were born prematurely two years ago coming this November. They were very small and needed a lot of treatments and underwent surgeries as well. Doctors were unsure of their capability to even go home from the hospital.

The children & staff started to pray for them, as did many others who knew their story. Each week we would get a progress report on them; each week they were getting better & better. They did come home from the hospital, very small & fragile. They did get to celebrate with joy their first birthday. They will soon celebrate their second birthday!

We have their picture, with their loving parents, in our Sunday school hall as a reminder of the "power of prayer". Our children are experiencing this "power of prayer" and how God answers our prayers. They know that prayer is answered in His way, in His time frame and that we accept His answer knowing that God loves us and knows what is best for us.

What is the future for our twins, God only knows. But our children do know that God is in control & hears their prayers. We have said many a "thank You" prayer when the twins were sick and then got better. They are very much a part of our weekly prayer in Sunday school. We will continue our prayers for them and will celebrate their birthdays each November.

How powerful is prayer? Prayer is very powerful, yet at times, answered by God so quietly. Our children know how to say a prayer & then to wait for an answer by God. They have waited for almost two years now and will continue to wait in prayer.

Do they need special words in prayer? Not at all! Prayer is a conversation between two who love each other, God and you. No special words to say; just let your prayer be straight from the heart, like an arrow, pointed and headed upward to Him. He knows your spoken & unspoken prayer. He does answer prayer. As the Bible verse states, we must go to Him in prayer, believing in Him and our prayer will be answered.
