We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to
the new Sunday school program, which was compiled by the Sunday School
Committee, under the spiritual guidance of Archbishop Cyril Karim and clergy. We
are very excited about the format of the lessons.
Our Sunday schools will have lesson plans comprised of three
levels for each Sunday in September to June. The age groups for the levels are
as follows:
 | Level 1- ages 3-5 |
| Level 2- ages 6-8 |
| Level 3- ages 9- and up |
Each lesson has 4 basic elements.
| Warm Up- students become engaged by being introduced to the topic of the
day and being taught one of life’s lessons |
| Bible Time- students read from the Bible and answer various questions
|
| Calendar Exercise- students complete designed activity, which connects
to the Bible story |
| Holy Eucharistic Liturgy- students learn about liturgy, prayers and
hymns. |
Classes should open and close with a prayer. The Holy Bible
should always be a focal point in the class. We will be sending prayers & hymns
and the most beneficial way to memorize them in our next update. We trust that
you will apply the lessons to your students and give us your constructive
suggestions and comments. We would appreciate you filing out & sending back your
